     Samuel Grose Moyle was born about 1814.1 He was the son of John Moyle and Dorcas Rowe Grose.1 He was baptised on 10 September 1818 in Kenwyn, Cornwall, England, His parents were John and Dorcas Moyle.2 He married Susan H Hamlyn in 1839 in Totnes, Devon, England.3 His wife Susan was admitted into Cornwall Asylum on 25 August 1848 and discharged on 28 December 1859.4 Samuel was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Chacewater, Cornwall, England, Samuel was a maltster and woolstapler living with his sister Jane aged 30 and children. Susan, his wife was still in the Cornwall asylum.5 Samuel was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in Kenwyn, Cornwall, England, Samuel was a brewer living with his wife and son. His parents are living next door.6 Samuel was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in Kea, Cornwall, England, Samuel was living wth his son John and a servant. His wife Susan is living in Buckfastleigh in Devon.8 Samuel was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in Endsleigh House, Chacewater, Cornwall, England, Samuel was a retired brewer livin with a housekeeper.
