They had a vistor and two servants.8 Ellen was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 10 Matlock Road, Thorpe Hamlet, Norfolk, England, Ellen was living with her daughter in their ten roomed home.      George William Steward Merriman was born on 27 January 1881 in Flegg, Norfolk, England.1,2 He was the son of George Merriman and Ellen Susanna Steward.1 In the census of 3 April 1881 in The Vicarage, Martham, Norfolk, England, he was listed as the son of George Merriman.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in The Vicarage, Martham, Norfolk, England, he was listed as the son of George Merriman George was a pupil mechanical engineer.4 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register George was listed as living at 41 South Wold Mansions, Paddington, London, England, George was an estate managers assistant. He was on the pensioned list for 18th Royal Fusiliers Sergeant C L 651.5 George died in 1959 in North Walsham, Norfolk, England.6

     Ernest Steward Merriman was born on 22 March 1886 in Flegg, Norfolk, England.1,2 He was the son of George Merriman and Ellen Susanna Steward.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in The Vicarage, Black Street, Martham, Norfolk, England, he was listed as the son of George Merriman.3 He married Nancy Middleton in 1925 in Brighton, Sussex, England.4 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Ernest was listed as living at The Rectory Church Hill, Sturminster, Dorset, England, with his wife Nancy. Ernest was a clerk in holy orders living with his wife and two servants.5 Ernest died in 1970 in Warminster, Wiltshire, England.6

Her estate was valued at £445 4s 1d.1

     Cornelius Tocock was born in 1811 Cornelius parents were Thomas Tocock and Martha Mott.1 He married Martha Charlton on 22 May 1834.1 Cornelius was sometimes know as Robert Tocock.1 When his son married Cornelius was described as a huntsman. He rode with the Garth Hunt.1 His wife Martha died on before 1871.1 Cornelius died in 1874 in Wokingham, Berkshire, England.2
