Alice was living with her daughter Florence.4 She died on 24 August 1931 in Shalford, Surrey, England.5,6 She was buried in Albury Churchyard, Albury, Surrey, England, Thomas and Alice lie under the same gravestone which has the inscription In loving memory of our dear father Thomas Good child who died 12 April 1017 aged 70. Also of our dear mother Alice Goodchild who died 24 August 1931 aged 73. The day thou gavest Lord is ended.5
