     Donald Kitching was born on 16 September 1923 in Settle, Yorkshire, England.1 He married Barbara J Fair in 1956 in Surrey, England.2 In 1961 Donald and Barbara lived at Plot 76, Bardon, Stringers Avenue in Jacbs Well in Guildford.3 He died on 3 September 2007 in The Hollyhocks, Stonard Brow, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, at age 83.4 His body was cremated and this ashes buried at Wonersh and Blackheath Cemetery in plot 818 with his son Andrew on 5 March 2009 in Surrey, England.4

     Alice Currier was born circa 1857 in Shalford, Surrey, England. She married Thomas Goodchild, son of James Goodchild and Mary Over, on 11 December 1875 in St Mary the Virgin, Shalford, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was woitnessed by James Currier and Emma Currier. Thomas was a draysman his father James Goodchild was a labourer. Alice's father James Currier was a wharpinger.1 She was the wife of Thomas Goodchild in the 1911 census in Pound Place, Shalford, Surrey, England. Thomas was living with his wife and daughters Millie and Florence and working as a brewers drayman. They had been married 35 years and had 12 children, three of which had died before 1911.2 Her husband Thomas died on 2 April 1917 in Shalford, Surrey, England.3 She was listed as head of household in the 1921 census in 2 Rose Cottages, Shalford, Surrey, England. Alice was living with her daughter Florence.4 She died on 24 August 1931 in Shalford, Surrey, England.5,6 She was buried in Albury Churchyard, Albury, Surrey, England, Thomas and Alice lie under the same gravestone which has the inscription In loving memory of our dear father Thomas Good child who died 12 April 1017 aged 70. Also of our dear mother Alice Goodchild who died 24 August 1931 aged 73. The day thou gavest Lord is ended.5
