He married Sarah Tickner on 30 January 1823 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after a licence was issued by Rev Cole. The ceremony was witnessed by Frances Cole and James Wynn. Ralph was a batchelor and Sarah a spinster of Bramley.2 He was listed as head of household in the 1841 census in Run Common, Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Ralph was an agricultural labourer living with his wife and children.3 He was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in Pound Farm, Wonersh, Surrey, England. Ralph visiting the Street family next to his daughter Jane Street.
