His brother George also a cab driver was lodging with them.4 She was the wife of Charles Ironside in the census of 3 April 1881 5 Regent Street, Lambeth, London, England.5 She was the wife of Charles Ironside in the 1891 census in 2 York Place, Lambeth, London, England. Charles was a cab driver living with his wife and son.6 Her husband Charles died in 1893 in Lambeth, London, England.7 Louisa was admitted on Thursday 21 January 1909 into Constance Road Workhouse in Camberwell. She was described as the widow of Charles a driver.8 She appeared in the 1911 census in Renfrew Road Workhouse, Lambeth, London, England. She gave her occupation as formerly a domestic nurse.9 She died in 1913 I can find no official death record for Louisa, only the entry in the discharge book of the workhouse. Louisa is sadly listed on the Summer Quarter of Renfrew Road Workshouse in Lambeth as discharged 'dead.8'
