She was baptised on 18 April 1800 in St John the Baptist, Windlesham, Surrey, England.1 She married Charles Robert Malden on 8 April 1828 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after a licence was issued. They were married by Rev C Jerram the vicar of Chobham. Lieutenant Robert Malden RN was the second son of the late Jonas Malden. Frances was the eldest daughter of Rev W H Cole , vicar of Wonersh, rector of West Clandon and domestic Chaplain to his Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester.2 She was the wife of Charles Robert Malden in the 1841 census in Brighton, Sussex, England. Charles was a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy and a schoolmaster living with his wfe, children who were listed as pupils, his sister in law Sophia, 16 other pupils and 5 servants.3 She was the wife of Charles Robert Malden in the 1851 census in Windlesham House, Furze Hill Road, Brighton, Sussex, England. Charles was a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, a classical and mathematical schoolmaster living with his wife three of his children and a house servant.4 Her husband Charles died before 1881. The ceremony was witnessed by Samuel Cole and Tho Sibthorpe.1 He witnessed the marriage of Jeremiah Bowen and Sarah Norton Cole on 17 June 1828 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.2 His wife Frances died in 1849 in Wonersh, Surrey, England. He was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in The Vicarage, The Street, Wonersh, Surrey, England. William was the Vicar of Wonersh, living with his daughter and son in law who was a clergyman of Wonersh and two servants.3 He died on 21 July 1852 in Wonersh Vicarage, Wonersh, Surrey, England, he was Vicar of Wonersh and domestic chaplain to his RH the late Duke of Gloucester.4,5 He was buried on 28 July 1852 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, in plot 109.6

Sisters Jane and Charlotte had their niece Elizabeth Charlotte living with them all with independent means and one servant.2 She married Joseph Stevenson on 30 January 1849 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Edmund Grove, Frances Malden and Mary Jane Cole and performed by Rev T R Stevenson. Joseph was a Gentleman from Brighton and his father Thomas Stevenson was a bookseller. Elizabeth was the 5th daughter of Rev William Hodgson Cole. Joseph Stevenson received a BA in Trinity College in Cambridge.3,4 She was the wife of Joseph Stevenson in the 1851 census in 8 Clifton Road, Brighton, Sussex, England.
