He had lived at 509S, Division Street, Mt Union. He was survived by his wife, two daughters, a half-sister, Judith Shatzer of Upper Strasburg; and a granddaughter. He was a member of Abbey Reformed Church, Huntingdon. He was employed by Suburban Propane of Burnham since 1997. Prior to that, he spent 19 years with PCNB, both in Huntingdon and Mt. Union. He was a 1966 graduate of Chambersburg High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Mt. Union Lions Club, F&AM Lodge 688, Mt. Union, and served on the board of directors for Tricounty Drug and Alcohol Commission, Lewistown.¹ He was buried on 3 August 2002 His funeral serviceswas held at 11 a.m. at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mt. Union, with Pastor Gary H. Marcy officiating. Interment was in Mt. Union Cemetery. Friends were invited to call 7-9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions were to be made to American Cancer Society, RD1 Box 33D, Huntingdon, PA 16652.¹
