Joan Vansteenwinckel née Savage
     Joan Savage was born on 26 March 1931 in Manchester, Lancashire, England.1,2 She was the daughter of William Reginald Savage and Ruth Ellen Tapper.3 She married Louis Vansteenwinckel, son of Louis Vansteenwinckel and Teresa McKenna, on 5 July 1952 in St Anns Church, Stretford, Lancashire, England.1,3,4 Her husband Louis died on 5 March 2015 aged 90.3 Joan died on 28 February 2020 in Lancashire, England, aged 88.3 Her body was cremated on 23 March 2020 in Walton Lea Crematorium Chapel, Chester Road, Walton, Lancashire, England. Sadly because the coronavirus had really hit the UK hard, few mourners were allowed to attend and they had to sit far apart, there were many further restrictions including flowers and no gathering afterwards.3
