     Louis Vansteenwinckel was born on 17 May 1887 in Kampenhout, North Brabant, Belgium.1 He was the son of Hendrikus Vansteenwinckel and Petronella Croon. He married Teresa McKenna, daughter of Michael McKenna and Catherine Holden, on 24 December 1917.2 He died on 14 March 1967 in Jewish Hospital, Cheetham Hill, Manchester, Lancashire, England, aged 79.2
