     Howard Yearwood was born in 1896 in British Guiana Howard had a sister Florence May Yearwood who was born 11 February 1887 and died in 1970 in Georgetown, British Guiana. She married David Wilkie and they had nine children. David was born in 1876 and died 1948.2,3 Howard emigrated from British Guiana to United States in 1917.2 He married Stella Greathead, daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead and Alice Louisa Thalia Gainfort, about 1921.2 Howard was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 2 April 1930 in 12 Vanderover Avenue, Howards Beach, Queens, New York, USA.4

     Dorothy Yearwood was born on 16 December 1921 in Brooklyn, New York, USA.1 She was the daughter of Howard Yearwood and Stella Greathead. In the census of 2 April 1930 in 12 Vanderover Avenue, Howards Beach, Queens, New York, USA, she was listed as the daughter of Howard Yearwood.2 She married Glenn Williams, son of Philip Williams and Francis Jarvis, Glenn was Dorothy's first husband.1 She married Roderick Williams, son of Philip Williams and Francis Jarvis, on 31 August 1946 Roderick was Dorothy's second husband.1
