     Arthur Thurston Adams was born about 1911.¹ He married Ailsa Mary McMurray, daughter of William Henry McMurray and Constance Annie Greathead, on 14 September 1946 in St Paul Parish Church, Beckenham, Kent, England, after the banns had been read. Ailsa was aged 22, Arthur aged 35 The ceremony was performed by Edward P Laycock (Vicar) and witnessed by Uncle Claud Ernest Greathead and P R Hayles. Ailsa was given away by her Uncle Claud. Arthur lived at 3a Longton Avenue, Sydenham, London and Ailsa lived at 48a Foxgrove Road, Beckenham.¹ He was a bank cashier and lived at Pebble Ridge, East Hill, Otford, Kent in 1952. He died on 15 October 1993 in William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, Kent, England, Arthur was a retired company secretary.¹ His body was cremated on 2 November 1993 in Charing Crematorium, Sevenoaks, Kent, England.¹ He was buried on 2 November 1993 in Chevening Church, Chevening, Kent, England.¹
