     Sarah Tomlinson was born about 1741 her parents were William and Sarah Tomlinson.2 She was baptised on 23 April 1741 in Penkridge, Staffordshire, England.2 She married John Hewitt on 7 February 1764 in Penkridge, Staffordshire, England.1,2 Her husband John died on 26 July 1803 in Penkridge, Staffordshire, England.2 Sarah died on 6 November 1806.2 The will of Sarah was proved on 5 March 1807 This will confirmed details of children's names and her mother's name of Sarah. It contained details concerning a cottage and land in Cannock left y her mother in 1788 to her grandchildren, excluding Robert.2

     Abram Hewitt was born on 31 July 1822 in Haverastraw, New York, New Jersey, USA.1 He was the son of John Hewitt and Ann Gurnee.1 He married Amelia Cooper Amelia was the daughter of Peter Cooper and Sarah Bedell. Abram was the Mayor of New York.1 Abram died in 1903.1
