He was baptised on 21 February 1887 in St Andrew, Grafham, Surrey, England, Mary and Arthur had a private baptism together. Their father was a labourer.2 He was the son of Robert Risbridger and Sarah Ann Risbridger in the 1901 census in Trunley Heath, Shalford, Surrey, England. Arthur was a labourer on the Sewage Farm.3 Arthur enlisted in Redhill on 19 October 1914 into The Queens, the Royal West Surrey reg no 3296. He had a fresh complexion, his eyes were brown, hair brown and had a chest measurement of 37 inches. He was 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighed 150 lbs. He stated he was a carman. He was recommended for discharge on 20 November 1914 stating Mentally deficient and no longer physically fit for war.4

She was the daughter of Robert Risbridger and Sarah Ann Joy in the 1891 census Snowdenham Road, Bramley, Surrey, England.2 She was the daughter of Robert Risbridger and Sarah Ann Risbridger in the 1901 census in Trunley Heath, Shalford, Surrey, England.3 She witnessed the marriage of Annie Chatt and Sydney Risbridger on 4 July 1910 in St Saviour, Stoke, Guildford, Surrey, England.4 She was the daughter of Robert Risbridger and Sarah Ann Risbridger in the 1911 census in Snowdenham Road, Bramley, Surrey, England. Elsie was a domestic housemaid.5 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Elsie was listed as living at 1 Althorne Road, Reigate, Surrey, England, Elsie was a canteen worker.6 She died in 1968 in Surrey, England.7

     Walter Burnell Brooks was born on 11 December 1864 in Shadwell, London, England. He married Sarah Ann Risbridger, daughter of Charles Risbridger and Frances Innes, on 12 July 1895 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony witnessed by William Fuller and Lucy Fuller. Walter was an insurance agent. His father William Hutchings Brooks was a chemist. Sarah's father Charles Risbridger was a woodman.1 He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in 100 High Street, Egham, Berkshire, England. Walter was a photographer living with hs wife and son.2 He was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in 24 Hindover Road, Seaford, Sussex, England. Walter was an assurance agent iving with his wife and son.3 He died on 19 March 1927 in 24 Hindover Road, Seaford, Sussex, England, at age 62.4 His estate was probated on 21 April 1927 Administration papers were issued to his widow Sarah Ann Brooks in Lewes. His effects were valued at £140 16s.4
