Helen Mary Calliphronas was born in 1880 in Freebridge Lynn, Norfolk, England.1 She married Lindsay Lennox Chaplin, son of James Hopper Chaplin and Alice Isabella Landells, on 2 August 1921 in St Peter, Parkstone, Dorset, England, after the banns had been read, The ceremony was witnessed by J C Calliphonas and A L Chaplin. Kindsay was a clerk in holy orders and his father James Hopper Chaplin was deceased. Helen's father Theodore Calliphronas was also deceased and had been a clerk in holy orders.2 Her husband Lindsay died on 9 August 1944 in The Rectory, Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire, England.3,4 She received the probate of the estate of Lindsay Lennox Chaplin on 29 November 1944.4 She died on 14 November 1951 in 60 Vicarage Road, Watford, Hertfordshire, England, his usual address was 34 Claygate Road in Bushy Hertfordshire.5,4 Her estate was probated on 20 March 1952 in London to Theodore King Chaplin a civil engineer and Mary Kathleen Frances Chaplin wife of Theodore King Chaplin. Her effects were valued at £1,353 6s 7d.4
