She was the daughter of Edward Ernest Winchester and Annie Jane Winchester in the 1911 census in Orchard Road, Baldock, Hertfordshire, England.2 She appeared on the National Register of 29 September 1939 in 1 The Avenue, Heath Wood Beech Avenue, Watford, Hertfordshire, England, she was working as a domestic servant.3 She died on 21 November 1974 in 14 Westall Close, West Street, Hertford, Hertfordshire, England, at age 71.4,5 Her estate was probated on 7 March 1975 Administration papers were issued in Ipswich. Her effects were valued at £2,000.5
