     Elizabeth Gittings married George Elsley, son of John Elsley and Sarah Boxall, on 10 March 1874 in Holy Trinity, Bramley, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read.      George Francis Longlands was born on 11 May 1892. George enlisted as a Private on 24 September 1914 into Sussex Yeomanry, Territorial Force giving his address as 66 East Street in Chichester, he was discharged on 2 January 1915, he did not serve abroad. he was 5 foot 11 inches tall with a chest measurement of 39 inches.1 He married Kathleen Ada Fitzsimons, daughter of Henry Fitzsimons and Elizabeth Robinson, in 1921 in Chichester, Sussex, England.2 He died on 13 December 1961 in The Royal West Sussex Hospital, Chichester, Sussex, England, at age 69 his usual address was Teneriffe, Elm Grove, Barnham, Sussex.3,4 His estate was probated on 8 June 1962 in Winchester to Mabel Winifred Longhurst widow. His effects were valued at £3,298 16s 5d.4
