     Henry Chennell was the son of ... Chennell.1 Henry signed his will on 15 September 1802, he was described as yeoman of Surrey and had lands Upperhouse and Ricbridge Hill in Wonersh and other lands in Dunsfold.1 He died in 1806.1 His estate was probated on 7 February 1806 in London by the oath of John Arnold his son in law.1

     Mary Sparkes was baptised on 20 February 1783 in St John the Baptist, Puttenham, Surrey, England, It would appear that her parents were John and Mary.1 She was the daughter of John Sparkes and Mary ... She married George Smallpiece on 26 May 1803 in St Mary the Virgin, Shalford, Surrey, England, after a licence was issued. The ceremony was withnessed by John Sparkes, Elizabeth Smallpeice and one other.2 Mary was listed as the wife of Geo smallpiece of Stoke next Guildford and was bequeathed in her brother George's will written on 5 January 1805 one thousand and fifty pounds for her own personal use and benefit.3 She witnessed the marriage of Oliver Hatch and Frances Sparkes on 27 November 1809 in St John the Evangelist, Guildford, Surrey, England.4 She was the wife of George Smallpiece in the 1851 census in Castle Street, Guildford, Surrey, England. George was a shopkeeper living with his wife Mary.5 She died in 1875 in Guildford, Surrey, England.6 She was buried on 27 April 1875 in Holy Trinity, Guildford, Surrey, England, the register suggests she lived at Smart's Gateway.7

     Frances Sparkes was born circa 1788. She was the daughter of John Sparkes and Mary ... She was baptised on 4 February 1790 in St John the Baptist, Puttenham, Surrey, England, The register states she was the daughter of John and Mary Sparkes of the Parish of Wanborough and was privately baptised October 1788 and received into the church on 4 February 1790.1 Frances was bequeathed in the will of her brother George written on 5 January 1895 one thousand and fifty pounds.2 She married Oliver Hatch on 27 November 1809 in St John the Evangelist, Guildford, Surrey, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Mary Smallpeice, Mary London Smallpeice and John Sparkes. Oliver was from St Matthew Friday Street in London, Frances was from this Parish in Guildford.3 Her husband Oliver died in 1828 in London, England. She was listed as head of household in the 1841 census in Morton Road, Rugby, Warwickshire, England. Frances was of Independant means living with her daughters Mary and Esther and two servants.4 She died in 1844 in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England.5 She was buried on 16 May 1844 in All Saints, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England.6 Her estate was probated on 17 June 1844 at London by the oaths of John Sparkes the nephew George Shurlock Smallpeice.7,8
