     Elizabeth Sale was born in 1878 in Send, Surrey, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Reuben Sale and Matilda Hill.3,4 She was baptised on 25 August 1878 in St Mary, Send, Surrey, England, her father Reuben was a labourer.5 She married George Frederick Craddock, son of Frederick William Craddock and Eliza Avenell, on 1 April 1907 in St Mary, Send, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by John Sale and Margaret Grace Sale. George was a printer from Woking. His father William was a labourer. Elizabeth was from Send and her father Reuben had died and was a laundryman.1,6 She was the wife of George Frederick Craddock in the 1911 census in Moor Hatch, Woking, Surrey, England. George was a printers machine minder living with his wife and daughters. They also had two lodgers,Joseph Luff and Alfred Roberts both apprentices to compositors.7 Her husband George died killed in action on 9 October 1917 while serving in Flanders. She was living in Valentine Cottage, Tannery Lane in Send.8,9 Elizabeth received war gratuity on 13 July 1918 of £4 4s 9d and a further payment on 17 December 1919 of £5 10s.10 She died in 1968 in Surrey, England.11

     Ellen Irene Terry was born on 9 March 1907.1 She married Leslie Ernest Norburn in 1935 in Edmonton, London, England.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Ellen was listed as living at 25 Manor Drive, Friern Barnet, Middlesex, England, with her husband Leslie. Leslie was a printing machine manager and a member of the AFS. Ellen was an ARP telephonist.3 Leslie and Ellen moved into Aldlyn, 13 New Road in 1951 bringing up their daughter Christine until their deaths.4 Her husband Leslie died in August 1992 in Surrey, England.5 She died on 10 May 1994 in 13 New Road, Wonersh, Surrey, England, at age 87.6,7 Her body was cremated her ashes are buried under a stone in St John the Baptist churchyard on 19 May 1994 in Guildford Crematorium, Godalming, Surrey, England.7

     Maurice Louis Huddleston was born in 1891 in Kensington, London, England.2 He was the son of ... Huddleston and Baroness ... Von Guttenberg. He appeared in the household in the 1911 census in St John's Seminary, Wonersh, Surrey, England. He was a Clerical Student.3 Maurice enlisted on 14 December 1915 as 2nd Lieutenant in the 15th Battalion of Durham Light Infantry No 102034.4 He died on 2 July 1916 in France He is listed as sadly killed in action.5,6 He was buried in Gordon Dump Cemetery, Ovillers-la-Boisselle, Departement de la Somme, Picardy, France, in plot VIII. D. 2.7 Three War Gratuities were paid into Holt and Co, presumably his bank during August.8 His estate was probated on 27 September 1916 Confirmation was granted at Kilmarnock to the Right Hon Charles Edward Mure Rawdon Abney Hastings, Earl of Loudoun. He was Executor nominated in the will dated 15 May 1916. The estate was valued at £490 5s 1d.6 Maurice's name appears on the plaque in St John's Seminary, Wonersh, Surrey, England.9

He was a clerical student.4 He died on 20 July 1917 in France he was killed in action and serving as Driver G/52151 with Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) 23rd Battalion. He was formerly 8423 in the Royal Sussex Regiment.5,6 Peter is buried in the Cabaret Rouge British Cemetery in Souchez in Grave E13.7 Peter's name appears in St John's Seminary, Wonersh, Surrey, England.5

Edward was a messenger.5 Edward joined the Royal Navy at Chatham on 22 November 1905 serving on the ship Acheron until March 1919 when he was on the Victory X. His service number was 309106. He was 5 foot 5 inches tall, with dark brown hair, hazel eyes and a fresh complexion and his service records stated he was of very good character during his service in the Roya Navy.2 He died in 1954 in Greenwich, London, England.6
