     Julia Howard was born circa 1870.1 She married Henry George Reuben Billinghurst, son of George Billinghurst and Harriet Emily Fowler, on 21 August 1897 in St James, Titsey, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Elizabeth Howard, Edwin Ansell Whickman, Harriet Bravery and Emily Ansell. Henry was a Gardener and gave his address as St Mary in the Castle Hastings. His father George was a labourer. Julia was a domestic servant in Titsey and her father George a Gardener.2 She was the daughter in law of George Billinghurst and Harriet Emily Billinghurst in the 1901 census in Run Common, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.3 She was the wife of Henry George Reuben Billinghurst in the 1911 census in Hookwood Cottages, Limpsfield, Surrey, England. Henry was a domestic Gardener living with his wife and children.
