Working as an under nurse for a private school. The school relocated in 1983 to Caterham. The site now is the location of the Surrey Police telecommunication masts whch can be seen for miles.5 She married Thomas William Chitty, son of Jesse Chitty and Annie Munford, on 17 January 1918 in Guildford Register Office, Guildford, Surrey, England, Dorothy gave her address as 36 Church Road in Guildford.6,7 She and Thomas William Chitty were divorced circa 1940 in New Zealand.3 Here is a lovely picture of Dorothy and three of her children, Ken, Dorothy and Mervyn.3 She died on 5 September 1980 in Auckland, New Zealand, at age 85.8 She was buried in Papakura Cemetery, City of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand, in Plot: PLWNA-I-012.8

He was the son of Charles Cumper and Annie Cumper in the 1901 census in Heathfield, Albury, Surrey, England.3 He was the son of Charles Cumper and Annie Cumper in the 1911 census in Albury Heath, Albury, Surrey, England.4 Frank joined the Royal Navy with a service number L7564 and served on five ships. The first being Excellent from 3 November 1915 and the last Dido that he left on 24 December 1920. His charactor throughout was described as very good. He was five foot seven and half inches tall, with a chest measurement of 32½ inches. His hair was dark brown, he had brown eyes and a fresh complexion.2 He married Florence Hilda Trott in 1927 in Guildford, Surrey, England.5 Frank and Florence lived in Brook in 1929 and Weston Dene in 1931 - 2.6 Frank, Florence and two of their children Douglas and Evelyn lived in 1955 at Yew Tree Cottage, Albury Heath in Surrey.7 He died on 1 May 1964 in Yew Tree Cottage, Albury, Surrey, England, at age 65.8,9 His estate was probated on 23 June 1964 in Winchester to Florence and was valued at £787.9

     Edwin Arthur Cumper was born on 24 July 1900 in Albury, Surrey, England.1,2,3 He was the son of Charles Cumper and Annie Shurlock. He was baptised on 31 August 1900 in St Peter and St Paul, Albury, Surrey, England, his father Charles was a painter.3 He was the son of Charles Cumper and Annie Cumper in the 1901 census in Heathfield, Albury, Surrey, England.4 He was the son of Charles Cumper and Annie Cumper in the 1911 census in Albury Heath, Albury, Surrey, England.5 He married Ethel Dorothy Still, daughter of Victor Still, on 11 February 1928 in St Marks, Peaslake, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Ida Gwendoline Galloway, Vivienne Mary Voler and Victor Still. Edwin was a carpenter improver living at Yew Tree Cottage in Albury Heath, his father Charles was a painter but had died previously. Ethel was a Post Office Assistant and lived at Clemetis Peaslake Cottage. Her father Victor Still was a general foreman builder.6,7 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Edwin was listed as living at Downside Cottage, Peaslake, Surrey, England, with his wife Ethel. Edwin was a gardener, handyman.8 He died in 1989 in Surrey, England.9
