     Charles Floyd Tagg was born on 22 December 1914 in Ocala, Florida, USA.1 He was the son of Walter Thomas Tagg and Olive Kate Attfield. Donald and Charles lived in 1938. Having lost both parents they were very closea and lived in Florida, Stoke Road, Guildford, Surrey, England.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Charles was listed as living at Florida, Stoke Road, Guildford, Surrey, England, Charles was staying with Alfred A W and Florence M Jermyn. Charles was working as a paper warehouseman.3 Charles was Gunner 1092238 and was captured on 15 February 1942 with his brother Donald, they were held in Japanese POW in Thailand.4 Charles was liberated on 2 September 1945, sadly his brother Donald died while in the same POW camp on 30 July 1943.4 He married Violet Irene French on 19 March 1946 in Holy Trinity, Guildford, Surrey, England.5 He died on 20 April 1977 in Surrey, England, at age 62.6

     Christina Ann Etherington was born in 1866 in Albury, Surrey, England.1,2 She was the daughter of James Etherington and Anne Charlotte Parsons.1 She was baptised on 9 December 1866 in St Peter and St Paul, Albury, Surrey, England, her father was a bricklayer.3 She was a daughter of James Etherington in the 1871 census in Albury Street, Albury, Surrey, England.4 She was the daughter of James Etherington and Ann Etherington in the 1881 census in The Builders Yard, Albury, Surrey, England.5 She was the sister of Christina Ann Etherington and Caroline Charlotte Etherington in the 1891 census in Grocers shop, Wonersh Common, Wonersh, Surrey, England. Christina managed the grocers shop and lived with her sister Caroline a dressmaker.6 She married Edward Bailey in 1892 in Chertsey, Surrey, England.7 She was the wife of Edward Bailey in the 1911 census in County Police Station, Reigate, Surrey, England. Edward was a Police Inspector living with his wife, son and his niece Winifred.8
