     Charles Floyd Tagg was born on 22 December 1914 in Ocala, Florida, USA.1 He was the son of Walter Thomas Tagg and Oive Kate Attfield. Donald and Charles lived in 1938. Having lost both parents they were very close in Florida, Stoke Road, Guildford, Surrey, England.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Charles was listed as living at Florida, Stoke Road, Guildford, Surrey, England Charles was staying with Alfred A W and Florence M Jermyn. Charles was working as a paper warehouseman.3 Charles was Gunner 1092238 and was captured on 15 February 1942 with his brother Donald, they were held in Japanese POW in Thailand.4 Charles was liberated on 2 September 1945, sadly his brother Donald died while in the same POW camp on 30 July 1943.4 He married Violet Irene French on 19 March 1946 in Holy Trinity, Guildford, Surrey, England.5 He died on 20 April 1977 in Surrey, England, at age 62.6

Edward was a Police Inspector living with his wife, son and his niece Winifred.7
