     Francis Hubert Skinner was born on 6 December 1901 in Brickworks Cottage, Wonersh, Surrey, England.1,2,3 He was the son of George Edward Skinner and Jane Moseley.1 He was the son of George Edward Skinner and Jane Skinner in the 1911 census in Brickyard Cottages, Wonersh, Surrey, England.4 He married Dorothy Ada Hosegood, daughter of Arthur Hosegood and Ada Jane Farnfield, on 10 November 1928 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. Francis was a locomotive engineer and his father George Edward Skinner was a Gardener. Dorothy's father Arthur had died and was a hairdresser.5,6 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Francis was listed as living at 17 Lawnsmead, Wonersh, Surrey, England, with his wife Dorothy. Francis was a railway fireman living with his wife and two others.7 Frank and Dorothy had no children.8 Frank Skinner was the driver and Albert Brockman the fireman on the last scheduled train to leave Wonersh and Bramley railway station on 13 June 1965 on the Guildford to Horsham line.9 He died in August 1988 in Wonersh, Surrey, England, at age 86.10

     George Edward Skinner was born circa 1866 in Lycett Minster, Dorset, England.1 He married Jane Moseley in 1893 in Midhurst, Sussex, England.1,2 He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in Brickfields, Wonersh, Surrey, England. George was a brickmaker foreman living with his wife and children.3 He was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in Brickyard Cottages, Wonersh, Surrey, England. George was a brickmaker living with his wife, two sons and a boarder. George and Jane. It is understood that he was the Superisor at Frank Sparks' brickworks at the foot of Chinthurst Hill until beginnig of WW1, 1914 when it is believed this brickworks closed.4 When the gunpowder mills closed after the war, George went to work for the Dendy Marshalls at Chinthurst Lodge.5 His wife Jane died in 1937 in Surrey, England.6 He died in 1938 in Wonersh, Surrey, England.7 He was buried on 9 June 1938 in Wonersh and Blackheath Cemetery, Wonersh, Surrey, England, in plot 311 after a service in St John the Baptist in Wonersh.8

     Dick Edward George Skinner was born on 24 October 1894 in Piddinghoe, Sussex, England, The Natoinal register suggested his date of birth was 23 September 1894.1,2 He was the son of George Edward Skinner and Jane Moseley.1 He was the son of George Edward Skinner and Jane Skinner in the 1901 census in Brickfields, Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 He was the son of George Edward Skinner and Jane Skinner in the 1911 census in Brickyard Cottages, Wonersh, Surrey, England. Dick was a domestic gardener.4 Dick worked as a gardener at Barnett Hill before WW1, but when it ended he decided to ork on a larger estate elsewhere returning to the village after his marriage.5 He married Elizabeth Mary Bush in 1924 in Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England.6 When Dick returned to the village he worked for the Dendy Marshalls at Chinthurst Lodge. Elizabeth worked for Mrs Atkins in the laundry when it was in the first building which later became Grinsteads butchers shop.5 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Dick was listed as living at Springfield Cottage, Wonersh, Surrey, England, with his wife Elizabeth. Dick was a gardener living with his wife and three others. Dick was AFS No 6 Wonersh Hambledon RDC.7 He died in 1969 in Surrey, England.8

     Francis Anthony Hasberry was born on 16 October 1901 in Lambeth, London, England, his parents were William and Elizabeth Hasberry.1 Francis enlisted into Royal Navy on 28 August 1918 no J92140 and served first on Impregnable on 16 October 1919 his last ship was Nelson and his service ended on 10 August 1927. He was 5 foot 5 inches tall, with a chest easurement of 33 inches. His hair was brown with hazel eyes and a fair complexion.2 He married Agnes Sarah Jennie Skinner, daughter of George Edward Skinner and Jane Moseley, in 1926 in Hambledon, Surrey, England.3 He died in 1966 in Surrey, England.4
