Charles Henry White was born on 20 May 1857 in Limehouse, Stepney, London, England.2,3 He was the son of William White and Susannah Williams. He married Alice Milchard, daughter of Joseph Milchard, in 1877 in Mile End, London, England.4 Charles was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 5 April 1891 in 37 Endive Street, Limehouse, London, England, Charles was a barge lighterman.5 Charles died before 31 March 1901.2

Mary Mabel Saxon was born on 21 December 1911 in Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, England.1 She was the daughter of William Ernest Saxon and Mary Hannah Senior. She married Sidney Charles White, son of Sidney White and Catherine Greathead, in 1937 in Abbeydale, Yorkshire, England, Mabel was Sidney's first wife.1,2 Mary and Sidney were divorced. Mary died in 1973 in Fulham, London, England.1
