Brenda Gail Greathead née Pacht
     Brenda Gail Pacht was born on 2 March 1955 in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA, she was the daughter of William Gustav and Vivian Rita Pacht née Espinola.1 Brenda was educated in local schools.1 Brenda was a member of the American Legion Post 247, Ladies Auxiliary in Tyngsboro for many years. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially at Hampton Beach. She also loved doing puzzles, playing cards, and trying out different restaurants.1 She married Thomas Greathead. Brenda died on 12 June 2018 in Wingate of Belvidere, Lowell, Massachusetts, USA, aged 63.1 Brenda was buried on 19 June 2018 in S Patrick Cemetery, Lowell, Massachusetts, USA, after a service at the McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Hoghland Street in Lowell.1

     Charles Collar was born about 1805 in Bradford, Wiltshire, England. He married Mary Ann Lloyd on 16 April 1827 in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by John Goodwin and William Gibbs.1 Charles was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 June 1841 in Union Court, Chippenham, Wiltshire, England, Charles was a spinner living with his wife and children. Little Elizabeth was just 2 months old.2 Charles was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Whitehill, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England, Charles was a slubber at the cloth factory living with his wife a cloth weaver and their children.3 Charles was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in Round Stone Street, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England, Charles was a woollen spinner living with his wife and two daughters, all three were woollen cloth workers.4 Charles died in 1866 in Melksham, Wiltshire, England.5

     John Marshall married Elizabeth Collar, daughter of Charles Collar and Mary Ann Lloyd, on 18 August 1872 in St James with St Stephen, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Solomon Porter and Harriet Reddle. John was a Bombadier in 11th Brigade in barracks at Trowbridge. His father John Marshall was a blacksmith. In the census of 7 June 1841 in Union Court, Chippenham, Wiltshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Charles Collar.1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Whitehill, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Charles Collar Jane was a piecer at the factory.2 A Mary Ann Coller and Jane Coller were sentenced to 4 and 3 months imprisonment for larceny in Wiltshire at the Newbourn assizes on 8 March 1856 Is this these two ladies. Possibly unlikely if Mary Ann married a month later?3
