     Reuben Raggett was born in 1861 in Cranleigh, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Reuben Raggett and Mary Nash. He was baptised on 2 March 1862 in St Nicolas, Cranleigh, Surrey, England, his family lived in The Lodge in Cranleigh and his father was a labourer.2 He was a son of Reuben Raggett and Mary Raggett in the 1871 census in China Row, Bramley, Surrey, England. Reuben was a scholar.3 He married Jane Mitchell, daughter of John Mitchell and Emma Turrell, on 29 January 1887 in St Mary and All Saints, Dunsfold, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Thomas Mitchell and Emily Raggett, Jane's father was a farm bailiff.4,5 He was listed as head of household in the 1891 census in Birtley Road, Bramley, Surrey, England. Reuben was working as a bricklayers labourer.6 He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in Yieldhurst, Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Reuben was a baker.7 His wife Jane died in 1906 in Yieldhurst, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.8 He married Ellen Worsfold in 1908 in Dorking, Surrey, England.9 He was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in Yieldhurst, Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Reuben was a journeyman baker living with his wife and two small children in their five roomed home.10 He died on 30 March 1930 in Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford, Surrey, England, his usual address was Yieldhurst, Shamley Green.11,12 He was buried on 3 April 1930 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, in plot J21.13 His estate was probated on 28 May 1930 in London to his widow Ellen. His effects were valued at £186 7s2d.12

     Rosina Raggett was born in 1864 in Bramley, Surrey, England.1 She was the daughter of Reuben Raggett and Mary Nash. She was baptised on 5 June 1864 in Holy Trinity, Bramley, Surrey, England, the family lived in Bramley and her father was a labourer.2 She was a daughter of Reuben Raggett and Mary Raggett in the 1871 census in China Row, Bramley, Surrey, England.3 She married George Theobald on 31 October 1891 in St Stephen, Canonbury Road, Islington, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by George Jolley and Elizabeth Jane Oakden. Rosina gave the address where she was a housemaid in Paddington and George lived in Stonefield Street, he worked as a warehouseman.4 She was the wife of George Theobald in the 1901 census in 43 Park Grove, West Ham, London, England. George was a warehouseman living with his wife and children. They had Ellen Griggs from Suffolk a 70 year old widow living with them. She was living on her own means. maybe a relative of George?5 She was the wife of George Theobald in the 1911 census in 43 Park Grove, West Ham, London, England. George was a drapers warehouseman liivng with his wife and three of his children in their three roomed home. George and Rosina had lost one child before 1911.6 She died on 22 January 1936 in 43 Park Grove, West Ham, London, England. Her estate was probated on 17 April 1936 in London to her husband a retired furniture porter. Her effects were valued at £66 1s 0d.7

     Warren Philip James was born on 7 June 1917 in Lambeth, London, England.1,2 He was the son of George Charles James and Athalinda Emily Day. He was baptised on 1 July 1917 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, his father was a locomotive fireman.1 He married Dorothy M Chegwidden in 1940 in Wandsworth, London, England.3 He died on 9 December 2009 in Guildford, Surrey, England, at age 92.4 His death appeared in The Surrey Advertiser of 31 December 2009.5
