William was an agricultural labourer living with his wif and two children.3 She was the wife of William Rice in the 1861 census in Little Yard, Ewhurst, Surrey, England. William was living with his wife and children working as an agricultural labourer, the twins Rose and Rufus were just 8 months old.4 She died in 1883 in Ewhurst, Surrey, England.5
