He was the son of Henry Bowbrick and Annie Bowbrick in the 1901 census in Lords Hill, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.2 He was the son of Henry Bowbrick and Annie Bowbrick in the 1911 census in Lords Hill, Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Charles was a stable boy.3 He married Alice Rogers in 1916 in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, England.4 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Charles was listed as living at Thanescroft Cottage, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, with his wife Alice. Charles was a head gardener.5 Charles and Alice arrived in Liverpool on board SS Empress of France from Montreal on 3 December 1953. Charles was a gardener and they gave their address as Cranleigh in Surrey.6 He died on 27 December 1958 in Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford, Surrey, England, at age 64 his usual address was 25 Nursery Hill in Shamley Green.7,8 He was buried on 31 December 1958 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, in plot J29.7 His estate was probated on 17 June 1959 Administration papers were issued in London to his widow Alice Bowbrick.
