He was baptised on 6 March 1904 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 He was the son of Job Redman and Louisa Mary Farnfield in the 1911 census in 6 Lawnsmead, Wonersh, Surrey, England.4 Job enlisted into the Queens Royal West Surrey No 6079570 on 13 March 1922 he stated he was a shop assistant. He was discharged on 12 March 1926.5 Job Albert Redman appears in the marriage register as being married on 16 April 1927 to Ethel Pesks in St Michael the Archangel in Aldershot. The incomplete entry is marked as cancelled presumably it did not happen.6 He married Annie M Martin in 1928 in Hambledon, Surrey, England.7 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Job was listed as living at 109 Ockford Ridge, Godalming, Surrey, England, with his wife Annie. Job was a Stocker living with his wife and four others.8 Ronald Herbert did his National Service in 1st Battalion Irish Guards who were stationed in Pirbright and he spent weekend leave with Job Albert Redman and family in Wonersh.9 He died in 1969 in Surrey, England.10
