Thomas and Lydia were living with their children, Benjamin aged 17, Esther aged 16, William aged 14, Elijah aged 13, Lydia aged 11, George aged 9 and grand daughter Sarah aged 2 all born in Alderby.3 She married Robert Bond, son of Edward Bond and Rachel Peak, on 8 January 1870 in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, after the banns had been read.
