Nansi Davies was born circa 1934.1 She married Roy P Parker in 1959 in Watford, London, England.2 Nansi was long-term resident of Wonersh and for nearly 20 years the coordinator of pastoral care at St John’s church. Throughout her 89 years, Nansi was a woman of compassion and prayer. Having started married life in Watford, she moved to Surrey in the early 1960s and enjoyed the benefits of Bookham, Guildford and most recently Wonersh. Throughout this time, she had a pastoral and administrative role in each church she attended and, even when housebound for the last few years, kept up with a vast number of people by telephone; the bills were huge, but her life was made complete in caring, praying and thinking of others. She leaves us with fond memories and has implanted in us a heart of love for every member of our community.1 She died on 6 September 2023 in Wonersh, Surrey, England.1
