Elizabeth Olga Moore Ede was born on 1 April 1910 in Godstone, Surrey, England, her parents were Stuart Strickland Ede and Inez AA Ede.1 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Elizabeth was listed as living at Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, Holborn, London, England, Elizabeth was a state Registered Nurse and Territorial Army Nurse in service a staff nurse.2 Elizabeth nursed in North Africa during WW2.3 About 1952 she was the Red Cross leader in the unit in Bramley.3 She started a play school in the early 1970s at Lawnsmead Hall every Monday charging 10p per morning. She also organied coffee mornings for young Mum's in Wonersh.3 Elizabeth lived from 1987-1991 in 5 Diamond Cottages, Barnett Lane, Wonersh, Surrey, England. Elizabeth helped Tom Farrell taking confirmation, and helped to organize Christian Aid weeks with Alan Bateman and later Graham Wright.3 She died on 12 September 2000 in Eastbury Manor Nursing Home, Compton, Surrey, England, at age 90.4,5 The funeral of Elizabeth Olga Moore Ede took place on 22 October 2000 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after which she was buried in Wonersh Churchyard.6,5
