Harold was a commercial clerk.4 He married Winifred Mutton on 5 August 1911 in Town Hall, Camberwell, London, England.5,6 Harold enlisted in Kingston on Thames on 25 September 1916 into the East Surrey Regiment.      Anne Richards McLane was born in April 1838 in New York, USA.2,3 She married Thomas Charles Farrer in 1863.1 She was the wife of Thomas Charles Farrer in the 1891 census in 35 King Henrys Road, Hampstead, London, England. Thomas was an artist and scultured living with his wife who also sulptured and was a landscape artist and their children.4 Her husband Thomas died in 1891 in Hampstead, London, England.5 She was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in 8 Holland Park Mansions, Holland Park Gardens, Kensington, London, England. Anne was living on her won means with her two children and a servant.6 Anne sailed on Oceanic from Southampton on 21 July 1909 bound for New York. Her home address was M Farrer, Coldharbour, Hampton Hill, Middlesex.3 Anne sailed on the American from Southampton arriving in New York on 26 October 1911. She gave her address in England as 37 Holland Park Drive in London.3 Anne sailed on Olympic leaving Southampton on 2 December 1913 bound for New York.7 She died on 17 February 1933 in Tangley Way, Blackheath, Surrey, England, at age 94.8,9 Her estate was probated on 16 June 1933 in London to Manley Farrer and engineer. Her effects were valued at £9,216 15s 8d.9

     Charles McLane Farrer was born on 12 October 1865 in Northampton, Massachusetts, USA.1 He was the son of Thomas Charles Farrer and Anne Richards McLane.1 Charles applied for membership into the Sons of the American Revolution on 16 January 1917 stating he was direct lineage of General Jedidiah Huntington who was born 4 August 1743 and died 25 September 1818.
He stated also his date and place of birth, that he was the son of Thomas Charles Farrer 1837-1891 and Anne Richards McLane born 1837 married 1863.
He was the grandson of Rev James Woods McLane 1801-1864 and his wife Ann Huntngton Richards 1807-1875 married 1883.
He was the great grandson of Peter Richards1778-1863 and his wife Ann Channing Huntington 17??-1857 married 1800
He was Great Great Grandson of Gen Jedidiah Huntington 1743-1818 and his wfe Ann Mears died 1831 married 1778
He was the Great Great Great Grandson of General Jabas Huntington 1719-1786 and Elizabeth Baekus 1721-1745 married 1741
He was the Great Great Great Great Grandson of Captain Joshua Huntington 1698-1745 and Hannah Perkins 1701-1745 married 1718
It was said that Genreal Jedidiah Huntington assisted in establishing American Independence while acting in the capacity of Colonel Brigadier General under General George Washington
The form went on to quote his ancestors service in the Army.1
