     Dorothy Rogers was baptised on 11 January 1893 in Christ Church, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, her parents were Henry and Emma Rogers, 14 Royal Parade. her father was a Music Professor.1 She married Robert Tate Medd, son of Peter Goldsmith Medd and Louisa Nesbitt, on 31 July 1915 in St James, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Louisa Medd and Emma Rogers. Robert was an engineer from Newcastle. His father was deceased but had been a clerk in holy orders. Dorothy's father Henry Rogers was a professor of music.2,3 She died on 15 January 1957 in Heathdene, Shoreham Road, Otford, Sevenoaks, Kent, England, at age 64.4,5 Her estate was probated on 21 March 1957 in London to Clydesdale and North of Scotland Bank Ltd. Her effects were valued at £7,806 3s.5

     Cecily Medd was born on 11 January 1912 in Epsom, Surrey, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Allan Nesbitt Medd and Jane Adele Vaughan Thomas. She was baptised on 24 February 1912 in St George, Ashtead, Surrey, England, her father was a wharfinger and the family lived in Inglenook in Ashtead. A wharfinger was the owner or manager of a wharf.2 Allan and Jane and their children Cecily, Allan and Richard were living at The Woodlands, Agales, Lane in Ashford in Surrey when young Allan died just aged 7 years.3 She married Philip Cecil King-Lewis on 20 April 1938 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Cecily's father Allan Nesbitt Medd who was a wharfinger and Humphrey King-Lewis. Philip's father also called Phillip was deceased and had worked as a surgeon, like his son.4,5 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Cecily Medd was listed as living at Four Gables, The Street, Wonersh, Surrey, England with her parents.6 She received the probate of the estate of Jane Adele Vaughan Medd on 19 March 1948.7 Her husband Philip died on 28 November 1960 in Worcester, Worcestershire, England.8,9 She received the probate of the estate of Allan Nesbitt Medd on 27 April 1962.7 She died in 2008.10
