Eleanor Catherine Medd was his Aunt and head of household which also included Eleanor's stepdaughter Bertha Alice Medd there was also 6 servants.5 He married Dorothy Rogers on 31 July 1915 in St James, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Louisa Medd and Emma Rogers. Robert was an engineer from Newcastle. His father was deceased but had been a clerk in holy orders.
