Henry was a fundholder living with his wife and daughters.5 Henry wrote a letter to the Editor about smallpox and vaccinations on 17 January 1782 which was published In the Surrey Advertiser 27 January 1872.6 His wife Emma died in 1875 in Hambledon, Surrey, England.7 He appeared in the 1881 census in Artington Cottage, Guildford, Surrey, England. Listed as a lodger and Captain in the Rifle volunteers. He had lost sight in one of his eyes and 14 teeth.8 He died in 1894 in Portsea Island, Hampshire, England.9

George Goodchild was born on 13 March 1849 in Wonersh, Surrey, England.1 He was baptised on 29 April 1849 his mother was Mary Goodchild a single mother.2 He married Rosa Messenger, daughter of William Messenger and Ellen Newman, in 1887 in Camberwell, London, England.1,3 He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in Carter Paterson Yard, Lambeth, London, England. George was a horsekeeper Groom living with his wife and sons.4 He was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in Carter Paterson Depot, Back Lane, Eltham, Kent, England. George was a horse foreman living with hs wife and son Stanley.5 He died in 1915 in Woolwich, London, England.1
