The family have strong connections to Shamley Green with Dick's father Arthur Goff having built a number of houses in Sweetwater Lane and StonardsBrow often aided by his sons Dick and John. In fact, Wayside Cottage, where Tina lived, was originally Dick's aunt Margaret's home. Tina highly valued the connection to the village and loved her home. She was a passionate gardener and loved flowers. She was active in the WI for many years, delivered meals on wheels and enjoyed several village societies and activities, including latterly, Time for Tea. She loved dogs and was often found walking on Farley Heath with one of her beloved boxer dogs.1
