     Brenda Simmel was born on 23 March 1952 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.1 She was the daughter of Nicholas Joseph Simmel and Beatrice Lillian Vincent. She married David Bruce Bell.1 David apparently left Brenda a 'Dear John' letter and absconded.1 She married Ronald Erwin Sarrasin.2

     Gladys Lillie Hilda Goff was born on 4 March 1890 in Guildford, Surrey, England. She was the daughter of Arthur Francis Goff and Mary Anne Hicks. She was baptised on 1 May 1890 in St Nicolas, Guildford, Surrey, England, her father was listed as an upholsterer and the family lived in Millmead Terrace.1 She was the daughter of Arthur Francis Goff and Mary Anne Hicks in the 1901 census in 1 Wherwell Road, Guildford, Surrey, England.2 She was the daughter of Arthur Francis Goff and Mary Anne Goff in the 1911 census in Inglenook, South Hill, Guildford, Surrey, England.3 She died in December 1972 in Surrey, England, at age 82.4
