He was the son of William Eager and Ellen Eager in the 1851 census in Ridinghurst, Cranleigh, Surrey, England.2 He was the son of William Eager and Ellen Eager in the 1861 census in Whipley, Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 He was a son of William Eager and Ellen Eager in the 1871 census in Whipley, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.4 He was the son of William Eager and Ellen Eager in the 1881 census in Whipley Farm, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.5 He died on 15 November 1922 in 33 Oxford Road, Ealing, London, England, at age 74.6,7 His estate was probated on 13 April 1923 in London to Evelyn Mary Cowan, wife of Percy John Cowan and Rev Sidney Leslie Roy Sharp.      Edward Eager was baptised on 16 May 1781 in St Mary and All Saints, Dunsfold, Surrey, England, his father was Richard.1 He was the son of Richard Eager and Elizabeth Boreman. He married Mary Mitchell on 20 June 1811 in Rudgewick, Sussex, England.2 Edward signed his will on 19 February 1831 witnessed by Henry Woods, James Niblett and Ch'in Woods.3 He died in 1837 in Dunsfold, Surrey, England.4 He was buried on 24 September 1837 in St Nicholas, Alfold, Surrey, England.4 His estate was probated on 17 April 1838 before the Judge by the Oath of Edward Michell and later William Eager.5,6

     William Eager married Elizabeth Moore on 4 March 1738 in Alfold, Surrey, England.1,2 His wife Elizabeth died in 1782 in Alfold, Surrey, England. Wiliam wrote his will on 1 June 1782 and it was witnessed by Sarah Ireland, Sparkes Butcher and Edward Grantham.3 He died in 1784 in Alfold, Surrey, England. He was buried on 2 June 1784 in St Nicholas, Alfold, Surrey, England.4 His estate was probated on 12 November 1784 n London before the Worshipful Andrew Coltee Ducarel Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of the Right Worshipful Peter Calvert also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully onstituted by the Oath of Richard Eager William's son.3

He married Ann Thayne on 28 April 1785 in St Nicholas, Alfold, Surrey, England, after a licence taken out on 6 March 1785. It states James was a widower.3
