He married Mary Mitchell on 20 June 1811 in Rudgwick, Sussex, England.2 Edward signed his will on 19 February 1831 witnessed by Henry Woods, James Niblett and Ch'in Woods.3 Edward was living at Gatestreet Farm in Grafham in Bramley in 1834.4 He died in 1837 in Dunsfold, Surrey, England.5 He was buried on 24 September 1837 in St Nicholas, Alfold, Surrey, England.5 His estate was probated on 17 April 1838 before the Judge by the Oath of Edward Michell and later William Eager.6,7
