     Mary Belgrave was born circa 1820 in North Kilworth, Leicestershire, England. She was the daughter of Thomas Belgrave. She appeared in the 1851 census as a visitor with her brother Thomas in Landport Terrace, Portsmouth, Leicestershire, England.1 She was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in 1 Churchill Street, North Kilworth, Leicestershire, England. Mary was a householder living with her sister in law, two nieces and three servants.2

     Isabella Richardson was born circa 1861 in Shotley Bridge, Durham, England. She married Dalrymple James Belgrave, son of Thomas Belgrave and Charlotte Dacres. She appeared in the in the 1901 census in 30 Gordon Place, Kensington, London, England. James and Isabel and their sons Charles and James and James sister Frances were boarding in a boarding house run by Martha Reach. James was a Barrister at law.1 Her husband Dalrymple died on 2 May 1922 in Braemar Broadway, Sandown, Isle of Wight, England.2,3 She received the probate of the estate of Dalrymple James Belgrave on 10 December 1924.3

     Charles Dalrymple Belgrave was born circa 1895 in Switzerland. He was the son of Dalrymple James Belgrave and Isabella Richardson. James was a Barrister at law.1 He married Marjorie Lepel Barrett-Leonard on 27 February 1926 in St Marks Church, Brighton, Sussex, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Isabel Belgrave and Lepel Barrett Leonard. Charles was listed as a Gentleman and his father Dalrymple Belgave was deceased. Marjorie's father Richard Fiennes Barrett Leonard was a Baronet.2
