     John William Evershed was born on 11 September 1887 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Harry Evershed and Mary Elizabeth Woodrow Burrows. He was the son of Harry Evershed and Mary Elizabeth Woodrow Evershed in the 1901 census in Salford, Warwickshire, England.2 He was the son of Harry Evershed and Mary Elizabeth Woodrow Evershed in the 1911 census in Evesham, Salford Priors, Warrwickshire, England.3 He married Margaret Audrey Bourchier in 1923 in Alcester, Warrwickshire, England.4 He received the probate of the estate of Kate Evershed on 6 June 1923.5 He received the probate of the estate of Harry Evershed on 8 December 1926.5 On 9 September 1939 in the National Register John was listed as living at Kenley Cottage, Alcester, Warrwickshire, England, with his wife Margaret. John was retired Manging Director of a Road and Dredging Busines. She was listed as an ARP First aider in the Ambulance service.3 She died on 13 January 1953 in Stratford upon Avon Hospital, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire, England, at age 56 her usual address was Orchard House, Salford Priors, Evesham in Worcestershire.4,5 Her estate was probated on 30 March 1953 in Birmingham to John Dendy Evershed an engineer and Margaret Audrey Evershed the wife of John William Evershed.
