Campbell Taylor Richardson married Ellen Atkinson on 24 September 1842 in Christ Church, Marylebone, London, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Robert Atkinson and Anna Lee. Campbell was a Lieutenant in the Bengal Army and his father Robert was listed as a gentleman as was Ellen's father named also named Robert.1,2 He died in 1871.

Campbell was a Lieutenant in the Bengal Army and his father Robert was listed as a gentleman as was Ellen's father named also named Robert.2,3 Her husband Campbell died in 1871. She was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in Woodbridge Crescent, Guildford, Surrey, England. Ellen was an Officers widow living with her daughter and a servant.4 She was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in Dapdune Crescent, Guildford, Surrey, England. Ellen was living with her daughter, a cook and a housemaid.5 She was listed as head of household in the 1891 census in Denmark Villas, Hove, Sussex, England. Ellen was living with her daughter and two servant a general servant and a housemaid.6 She was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in 70 Hove Villas, Hove, Sussex, England. Ellen was living with her daughter and two servants.7 She died in 1905 in Steyning, Sussex, England.8
