     Thomas Michael Baring was born on 24 January 1927.1 He married Sarah Katherine Elinor Astor, daughter of Richard Henry Brinsley Norton and Jean Mary Kinloch, on 17 April 1953 in Marylebone, London, England.2 Thomas and Sarah disembarked on 13 September 1855 the Ile de France in Plymouth.      Victoria Botting was born on 25 January 1901 in Albury, Surrey, England.1 She was the daughter of Charles Arthur Botting and Ellen Standing. She was the daughter of Charles Arthur Botting and Ellen Botting in the 1901 census in Albury Mill, Albury, Surrey, England.2 She was the daughter of Charles Arthur Botting and Ellen Botting in the 1911 census in Mill House, Albury, Surrey, England.3 She married Kenneth Ruff Thomas on 25 May 1929 in St Peter and St Paul, Albury, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by C A Botting and C L Thomas. Kenneth was a solicitor from San Remo, Ray Park in Maidenhead in Berkshire. His father Charles Riff Thomas was also a solicitor. The wedding was reported in The Surrey Advertiser and it read: The bride was attired in white charmeuse satin over a pink slip, trimmed with silver bugles at the waist, with tightly fitting bodice and flared skirt. Her train of silver lace was lined with pink georgette, with orange blossom at the corners. Her bouquet was of pink roses, lilies-of-the-valley and white heather. After the ceremony a reception in Albury village hall was attended by about 130 guests, and later the bride and bridegroom left to honeymoon at Grindelward and the Italian Lakes.
Among the many presents were a canteen of silver and dessert knives and forks and a silver fruit stand.4,5 She died on 20 February 1981 in San Remo, 10 Ray Park Avenue, Maidenhead, Berkshire, England, at age 80.6,7 Her estate was probated on 7 May 1981 in Oxford . Her effects were valued at £183324.7

Both Charles and Ellen lived in Union Street.3,4 He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in Albury, Surrey, England. Charles was a foreman miller living with his wife and children, little Charles was just 10 months old.5 He was listed as head of household in the 1891 census in Albury Mill, Albury, Surrey, England. Charkes was the Manager of a Flour Mill living with his children little Gwyneth was just 2 months old.6 He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in Albury Mill, Albury, Surrey, England. Charles was a flour miller living with his wife and children, little Victoria was just three months old.7 He was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in Mill House, Albury, Surrey, England. Charles was a flour miller.5 He married Caroline Winifred Oliver on 29 July 1909 in Holy Trinity, Guildford, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read.      Caroline Winifred Oliver was born on 19 May 1881 in Guildford, Surrey, England.1,2 She married Charles Arthur Botting, son of Charles Arthur Botting and Ellen Standing, on 29 July 1909 in Holy Trinity, Guildford, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Frederic Wood Botting, CA Botting and Hannah Maud Edgson. Charles was a Miller in Albury like his father also names Charles Arthur. Caroline was from Guildford. Her father Goulden Oliver was a furniture dealer.3,4 She died on 15 July 1954 in Albury, Surrey, England, at age 73.1,5 She was buried in Old St Peter and St Paul churchyard, Albury, Surrey, England.1
