Her father Charls Henry was a builder.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Evelyn was listed as living at Aldlyn, 13 New Road, Wonersh, Surrey, England, with her husband Reginald. Reginald was a brewers labourer and was listed as could employ first aid.
