were flying to Henstridge for fuel and lunch. Routed South of Salisbury,
North of Shaftsbury and flew beyond Henstridge to look at Sherborne and
Crewkerne. Then turned East and back to Henstridge to join downwind left
hand for runway 25. Brian came out and fuelled us along with giving a crash
course on using the bowser so that we could self fuel in the future, if we
have the courage.
Henstridge was busy and it was hard to find somewhere to sit in the
restaurant. Its fantastic to see the hangarage development at Henstridge and
to know that there are a few more aeroplanes based there now.
lunch we headed East for home, initially flying through a rain shower.
Passing South of Salisbury the Cathedral looked imposing. Back at base we
did the usual cleaning and put the aeroplane to bed.
