In memory of Joan Tubbs
Joan was my friend and we had many interests in common. As well as these interests she taught me to take photographs, and I taught her how to climb her family tree but sadly I never managed to get her to document it in any digital form. After she died I retrieved all her paper documents and have attempted to put the information she collected into a readable form. I have added information on mothers maiden name, 1921 census and anything else I discovered along the way to make her story more comprehensive. I hope she would have been pleased with this site and all I have done in her memory
