Thomas Greathead was baptised on 30 June 1811 in Parish Church, Coleshill, Warwickshire, England.1 He was the son of John Greathead and Elizabeth Brisband. He witnessed the marriage of Sarah Dillon and Joseph Greathead on 20 August 1839 in St Peter and Paul, Aston, Warwickshire, England.2,3 In the census of 6 June 1841 in High Street, Tanworth in Arden, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the son of John Greathead.4 Thomas died on 21 June 1845 in Meriden, Warwickshire, England, aged 33.5,6 Thomas was buried in Woodlands Cemetery, Birmingham Road, Coleshill, Warwickshire, England.6 John, Elizabeth and their son Thomas are all buried under the same gravestone. It appears to be made of slate and situated under a pine tree, hence the green stain.6

Henry Greathead was baptised on 29 January 1808 in Parish Church, Coleshill, Warwickshire, England.1 He was the son of John Greathead and Elizabeth Brisband. Henry died in 1819.2 Henry was buried on 13 October 1819 in Coleshill, Warwickshire, England, aged 12.2

Mary Ann Long Woodcock was born about 1826 in Deal, Kent, England.1 She married John Hugh Hawley, son of John Hawley and Elizabeth ..., on 22 June 1858 in St Giles, Cripplegate, London, England, after a licence had been issued. John was a schoolmaster. The ceremony was witnessed by Wm N Hughes, Isabella Mary Hughes and Sarah Hawley.1,2,3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Springfield House, Brunswick Street, Leamington Priors, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of John Hugh Hawley.4 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 11 Brunswick Street, Leamington Priors, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of John Hugh Hawley.5 In the census of 3 April 1881 in 60 Hunters Lane, Aston, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as a visitor of Thomas Joyce. Her husband and daughter were at home in Hampton Cottage.6 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Elm House, Maple Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England, she was listed as the wife of John Hugh Hawley.7 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 8 Park Road, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of John Hugh Hawley.8 Her husband John died on 1907 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England.9 Mary died in 1908 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England.10
