John Joseph Greated was born about 1816.1 He was the son of Joseph Greated and Rebecca Catlin. John died in 1818.2 John was buried on 21 February 1818 in St Mary the Virgin, Church Walk, Hayes, Middlesex, England, he lived at Snowshill and was only eighteen months old.1,2 There is a white marble memorial with the bust of Rev Charles Manning on top who was the vicar of St Mary the Virgin in Hayes. His wife Elizabeth was the daughter of the previous vicar. On this memorial are details about the deaths of many of the Greated family, it can be found inside the church, close to the North door.2,3

Mary Ann Greated was born about 1813.1 She was the daughter of Timothy Greated and Mary Ann Daly.1 Mary died on 4 December 1827.2 Mary was buried on 16 December 1827 in St Mary the Virgin, Church Walk, Hayes, Middlesex, England, she lived in Ely Place.1 There is a white marble memorial with the bust of Rev Charles Manning on top who was the vicar of St Mary the Virgin in Hayes. His wife Elizabeth was the daughter of the previous vicar. On this memorial are details about the deaths of many of the Greated family, it can be found inside the church, close to the North door.2,3

Eliza Greated was born about 1814.1 She was the daughter of Timothy Greated and Mary Ann Daly. Eliza died in 1815.2 Eliza was buried on 15 October 1815 in St Mary the Virgin, Church Walk, Hayes, Middlesex, England, aged 16 months she lived in St Sepulchre.1 There is a white marble memorial with the bust of Rev Charles Manning on top who was the vicar of St Mary the Virgin in Hayes. Claude Fuller was the son of Cyrus Edgar Fuller and Sarah Mason.1 He married Ethel May ...1 Claude died in 1928 Claude had been a well known Entomogist and had emigrated from Australia to South Africa. He was killed in a motorcar accident.1

William Walker married Rebecca Greathead, daughter of Francis Greathead and Sarah Thornton, on 19 December 1838 in All Souls, Marylebone, London, England, after a licence had been issued on 10 December 1838. The ceremony was witnessed by Wm Geo Pau and Wm Tookey. I would suggest that these may not be friends as Wm Geo Tookey witnessed the previous wedding the day before!. William was described as a cheesemonger his father William being listed as a Gent and Rebecca's as an Excise Offcer dec'd.1,2,3

Johann Hinrick Dohrmann was born about 1830 in Hanover, Germany.1 He married Maria Greathead, daughter of Joseph Greathead and Maria Brumfield, on 13 June 1859 in St Matthew, Essex Road, Islington, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by William Curtis and Suan Newcombe. Maria signed with her mark and her age was given as 28. I believe that to be wrong. The register is completed with Johann being written as John Henry the anglicised version of his name, he signs Johann Hinrick. He was a sugar baker living at 9 New Road, St George in the East. Maria was living at 13 Rotherfield Street.2,3 Johann was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in 9 New Road, St George in the East, London, England, Johann was listed as a sugar baker living with his wife.4 I have assumed Maria Dohrmann died before 1866 as (an unknown value) remarried.1 He married Elizabetha Kinckel in 1867 in Whitechapel, London, England.1,5 Johann was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 27 Swann Street, St George in the East, London, England, Johann was still listed as a sugar baker living with his new wife.6 Johann died in 1874 in St George in the East, London, England.7

Elizabetha Kinckel was born about 1836 in Darmstadt, Germany.1 She married Johann Hinrick Dohrmann in 1867 in Whitechapel, London, England.1,2 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 27 Swann Street, St George in the East, London, England, she was listed as the wife of Johann Hinrick Dohrmann.3 Her husband Johann died on 1874 in St George in the East, London, England.4 She married Friedrich August Koster on 21 October 1876 in St Dunstan and All Saints, Stepney, London, England, after the banns had been read on 1, 8 and 15 October. They both gave their address as 48 Wellington Street on the banns and marriage rgister. The ceremony was witnessed by Sieghard Calmon and Mary Ann Stevens who signed with her mark. Friedrich was a ships carpenter like his father John.5,6
