Hide and Mary ...1 He married Mary Parkin, daughter of Thomas Parkin and Hannah ..., in 1854 in Rotherham, Yorkshire, England.1,2 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 35 Furminal Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Mary Hide Edmund was an optician staying with his Mother. His wife and son were also in the household.3 His wife Mary died on 1870 in Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, England.1,4 Edmund was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 9 Cemetery Road, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, Edmund was a photographer living with his two children.5 Edmund was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 23 Cemetery Road, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, he was a photographer.6 Edmund died in 1918 in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England.7

Hide.1 Her husband ... died on before 1861.1 Mary was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 7 April 1861 in 35 Furminal Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, Mary was a boarding house keeper. Her son, daughter in law and grandson were staying with her together with four lodgers.2 Mary was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 35 Furnival Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, Mary was a boarding house keeper. Her grandaughter was staying with her. She also had four boarders, Thomas Hickson, Timothy Lawlay, James Reid and Peter Barratt.3 Mary died in 1900 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.4

     Stanley Maurice Whitehead was born in 1921 in Romford, Essex, England.1 He married Ivy Margaret Greathead, daughter of Edwin Greathead and Jessie Matilda Mary Fellick, on 27 September 1941 in St Margaret, Barking, Essex, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony ws witnessed by Jessie Greathead and Ivy Phylis Whitehead. Stanley was in the RAF and gave his address as 12 Devon Road, Barking. His father was Herbert James Whitehead a postman. Ivy gave her address as 69 Salisbury Avenue in Barking.2,3 His wife Ivy died on February 2004 in Southend on Sea, Essex, England, aged 84.4
