     Fanny Spencer was born about 1801.2 She married Joseph Greathead, son of John Greathead and Elizabeth Brisband, on 28 December 1822 in Coleshill, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. The cermony was witnessed by George Spencer and Mary Stretton.3,4 Fanny died in 1839 in Meriden, Warwickshire, England.5 Fanny was buried on 22 April 1839 in Coleshill, Warwickshire, England.6

He married Elizabeth Bush in 1845 in Meriden, Warwickshire, England.2 Joseph was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Coleshill, Warwickshire, England, Joseph was a tailor living with his wife Elizabeth, a dressmaker and their son George aged 4.3 Joseph was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 7 April 1861 in Wishaw Road, Curdshaw, Warwickshire, England, Joseph was now a grocer living with his wife, son and his wife's sister Maria.4 Joseph was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in Coventry Road, Over Whitacre, Warwickshire, England, Joseph was now a farmer of four acres living with his wife.5 Joseph was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in Rose Cottage, Coventry Road, Over Whitacre, Warwickshire, England, Joseph was a farmer living with his wife. The household had a visitor called Benjamin Thulson aged 53 and widower and a bank clerk.6 He married Mary Ann Hull, daughter of John Briggs, on 8 September 1899 in St Peter and St Paul, Aston, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read on 20, 27 August and 3 September.      Josiah Greathead Strachan was born on 5 January 1813 in Bristol, Somerset, England.1,2,3 He was the son of James Strachan and Ann Ellison.4 He was baptised on 29 May 1814 in Castle Green Independent, Bristol, Somerset, England.5,3 He married Ann Vickers on 1 July 1836 in St Mary, Newington, London, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Jno Vickers and Elizabeth Vickers.6 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Epsom Road, Ewell, Surrey, England, he was listed as the son in law of Elizabeth Vickers an annuitant. The household consisted of his mother in law, his wife and her sister. Josiah was a factory owner.7 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 133-4 Holborn, Holborn, London, England, Josiah was a visitor, staying in a hotel in Holborn. He was listed as married and a manufacturer.8 Josiah Greathead Strachan who was an Ebley Mill partner with S S Marling took Farm Hill Park over from the Wyatt family.9,10 His wife Ann died on 1870 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England.11 Josiah was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 17 Wessfield Place, Hastings, Sussex, England, Josiah had his sister Catherine and niece Susan living with him. Two visitors Mary and Wilfred Wickers and two domestic servants. Josiah was described as a widower and worked as a JP Woollen and Cloth Manufacturer.12 Josiah died on 30 August 1892 in Farm Hill Park, Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, aged 79.13,14 The will of Josiah was proved on 6 October 1892 in London to James Albert Causton Esq, J J Pearson Esq, Rowland Ticehurst solicitor. His effects were valued at £135,772 5s4d and resworn in 1893 to £135,247 8s2d. In the will Joshua gave £1000 for the poor of Cainscross, a village in Gloucestershire.14,15
