Charles William Wren was born in 1877 in Brighton, Sussex, England.1 He was the son of Charles Wren and Angelina Shoulders.2 In the census of 3 April 1881 in 20 Claremont Row, Brighton, Sussex, England, he was listed as the son of Charles Wren.3 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Brighton Parochael Schools, Rottingdean, Sussex, England, he was listed as an inmate.4 He married Laura Evelyn Bridger in 1909 in East Preston, Sussex, England.5 Charles was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in Hope Villa, Tesilla Place, Worthing, Sussex, England, Charles was a Gardener living with his wife and young daughter Evelyn in their two roomed home. Charles did not sign off the census sheet, could he not write? It was signed by Harry Thomas Tugmott who was he?6 Charles died before 1939.7

He was the son of Timothy Wren and Jane ...1,2 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Brighton, Sussex, England, he was listed as the son of Timothy Wren.3 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 27 Cumberland Place, Brighton, Sussex, England, he was listed as the son of Jane Wren Charles was an errand boy.4 He married Angelina Shoulders on 14 July 1862 in St Nicholas, Brighton, Sussex, England.2,5,6 Charles was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 1 Kelsey Cottages, Farnborough, Hampshire, England, Charles was a painter. The family had a soldiers wife as a lodger called Mary Brooks.7 Charles was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 3 April 1881 in 20 Claremont Row, Brighton, Sussex, England, Charles was a painter, his daughter Angelina was enumerated twice, she was also listed with her husband and four month old son. My guess is her mother was not well as she died the following year.8 His wife Angelina died on 1882 in Brighton, Sussex, England.9 Charles was listed inmate on the census of 31 March 1901 in Borough Asylum, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.10

She worked as an ironer.5 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 63 Spa Street, Brighton, Sussex, England, she was listed as the wife of Alfred Kirby Angelina ws a laundress.6 Annie was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 31 Hendon Street, Brighton, Sussex, England, she was a laundress ironer. I do not know at present where her husband Alfred was, presumably working away from home.7

Daisy W White was born on 25 September 1915 in Worthing, Sussex, England.1 She was the daughter of William White and Daisy White. She married ... Sparkes.2 Daisy followed her son and daughter in law moving out to New Zealand.2 Daisy died on 30 April 2009 in Mercy Parklands, Auckland, New Zealand, aged 93 Mercy Parklands is a rest
home run by the Sisters of Mercy Catholic Trust.2 There was a small service for her on 5 May in the chapel within the home which was lovely. During her last year her son and daughter in law had made friends with other families who also had been looking after their loved ones, they joined with them.. also their friends went and joined them at their house later for a few drinks. Daisy was on morphine for the last five days and was more peaceful. Her wish was to be cremated.2
